Georgie Morgan
Georgie Morgan
At the age of 21, Georgie attended her first yoga class whilst at university in Brighton and instantly fell deeply in love with the practice. The inner calm and contentment felt like what can only be described as ‘coming home’.
It was then that Georgie began her journey inward, exploring the power of this beautiful union of the mind, the body and the breath. Over the last 11 years, Georgie has walked a path of self-inquiry and dedicated study, developing her own personal practice whilst deepening her awareness and understanding of lineages such as hatha yoga, vipassana + mindfulness meditation, vinyasa krama, yin and the healing arts.
Over this time, Georgie has completed 600 hours of trainings including :
- 200 hour foundation yoga teacher training at Vikasa Yoga Academy (Thailand, 2018)
- 100 hour transformational meditation teacher training (UK, 2021)
- 300 hour advanced yoga teacher training with Sacred Paths Yoga (Costa Rica, 2022).
Georgie’s intention is to create a safe and sacred space for you to ground, connect and journey within.
It’s important to Georgie to honour this ancient yogic tradition by guiding you through a holistic class that empowers the body, mind and soul; incorporating mantra (chanting), pranayama (breathwork), meditation and of course, asana (the physical practice of movement through postures).
Her teaching style is warm, inclusive and intuitive, guiding you through a gentle practice suitable for all levels, which focuses on building strength and focus, both on the inner and the outer.
Georgie is very much looking forward to seeing you on the mat at the Tree of Life Centre
