Drama classes at
The Tree of Life Centre!
Following a long yet unfulfilling career in education finance, Helen’s passion for the arts directed her towards a career change and after three years of training with The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, Helen was awarded the Diploma in Speech and Drama Education. She is a full member of The Society of The Teachers of Speech and Drama.
Since qualifying as a LAMDA Speech and Drama teacher, Helen has taught Acting, Public Speaking, Musical Theatre and Verse and Prose Speaking at grammar schools and independent schools throughout Gloucestershire and after school.
****************
All of Helen’s pupils work towards LAMDA examination success and have the opportunity to perform and succeed at performing arts festivals in Gloucestershire and the surrounding counties of Avon, Wiltshire, Herefordshire and beyond. Some of Helen’s pupils have opted for professional training and have undertaken professional training at such conservatoires as LIPA and East15 Drama School.
Helen believes that there is a performer in all of us, and that the opportunity to work towards performance and communication examinations and festival performances should be available to everyone and not just young people of school age. It’s never too late!
Feel free to contact Helen directly to book private lessons and watch this space for workshops in Public Speaking which are coming soon!
The Tree of Life is a registered private
LAMDA exam centre.
